About Me
Growing up riding horses, acting wasn't something Mary ever thought she would pursue. Still, with her parents blasting the score to The Phantom of the Opera in the car from the time she was four, it was inevitable that the theatre bug would bite. It wasn't until college, when she was overseas in England studying Equine science, that Mary chose to finally pursue her love of storytelling by coming home and taking her first acting class. That was all it took.
She graduated on the Dean's List from Bluegrass Community and Technical College with an Associates in Fine Arts in Theatre and made her way out to Los Angeles to study at the Stella Adler Art of Acting Studio. While there, she had the opportunity to play Zina Lebedev in Nicky by Boni B. Alvarez directed by Giovanni Ortega, Ulysses/Margarelon in Troilus and Cressida by William Shakespeare directed by Beth Lopes, and Judge Littlefield/Caiaphas the Elder in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot by Stephen Adly Gurgis directed by Bryan Kieth.
Mary has also had the opportunity to perform in numerous short films (Suspicious Minds, The Viridian Jewel), and an award winning feature film on the festival circuit (The Covid Monologues). She recently wrote, produced and starred in her one-woman show at the Hollywood Fringe Festival 2024, Tales from a Harlot Nun. If you can’t find her on stage or set, you will probably find her on a horse or rolling dice playing Dungeons & Dragons.
